Bronzing Powder Solutions

Bronzing powder adds a warm, shimmering glow to cheeks, shoulders, upper torso, forehead, chin and nose; put bronzer anywhere you wish for a sun-kissed look! Bronzing powder will also disguise strap marks when the rest of your body is tan, and gives you a gorgeous glow that can be used lightly for a healthy layered deep tan look; you can even enhance a tan you already have!

One quick tip - make sure it doesn't look like a stripe; you want to warm up your coloring, not give the appearance of being toasted in one spot. Nobody wants to look like a clown right? So, gently use circular motions when applying the powder.

Bronzer can give you extra color with out the mess of liquid “fake tans,” bronzer is long-lasting and comes in many different shades of tan. Did you know that bronzer can be a nice herbal skin care product? Some bronzers have added herbs to help make your skin even more radiant. Some bronzers also have sunscreen as well, and with added vitamins E & C!

How Can I Use Bronzer?

You can wet the bronzing powder and it transforms into a sheer cream that glides on to add intense color to your lips, face, or eyes. Bronzers are perfect for year-round sun-kissed glow.

How Do I Use Bronzer?

As mentioned earlier you can get your cheeks, shoulders, and upper torso glimmering as if you yourself were on the islands. You need some good brushes to evenly apply the bronzing powder.

  • Apply a light amount of powder to the end of the brush with the bronzing powder.
  • With circular motions, start with your cheekbones. Find the apple of your cheeks (it helps if you suck in your cheeks or simply smile, when you do this it helps to find where to start on your cheekbones) and brush the bronzing powder on just below the outside corner of your eyes, on the apple of your cheekbones. Continue up your cheekbone until the brush meets your hair line.
  • If you want more depth to your cheeks use two different colors of bronzing powder. First apply the lighter shade on the apple of your cheeks. Then with the darker color go just below your cheekbones and continue up to the hair line. Make sure the darker color is not the dominate color, a little goes along way.

Experiment and see what works best for you. However, if you don’t feel confident enough to try a new look on your own; it never hurts to get make-up tips from a professional make-up artist. You can generally find them at day spas, department stores, or even seek out a reliable book.

Why Do We Have Bronzing Powder?

Bronzing powder was made-up in the last decade because consumers became aware of the very serious nature of skin cancer. Skin cancer has become more prevalent in our world due to too much sun tanning (this includes tanning beds), or on the job sun exposure. A lot of us know someone or know of someone who has developed skin cancer. This is why “fake tans” have been invented. You can find these products from your local bath and body shop, grocery store, online, or day spas.
